Mend is a purpose-built digital platform helping patients prepare for and recover from surgery with confidence.
We combine step-by-step digital care plans with optional virtual coaching to reduce cancellations, prevent complications, and improve outcomes — while saving time for clinics and hospitals.
Our mission is to close the gaps in perioperative care with smarter, scalable support that works for patients, providers, and the broader health system.
Why We Started Mend
Surgical success doesn’t start in the operating room — it starts with informed, prepared patients.
As clinic leaders and surgeons ourselves, we saw the daily burden of poor prep: cancelled procedures, rushed consults, lost paperwork, overwhelmed patients. There had to be a better way.
That’s why we built Mend — to bridge the gap between appointments, and bring structured, supported care to every patient.
